The 14th National Cornbread Festival will be held on April 24th and 25th, 2010 in historic South Pittsburg, TN. Mountainside Craft will be located in the General Store Area. All styles and sizes of our Hiking/Walking Sticks will be available, we will be featuring our sticks made from beautiful "Red Cedar"! We have a large variety of these hand-crafted hiking/walking sticks to choose from. Hope to see you at the "Cornbread Festival"

HIKING STICKS AT HOLLOWAY'S PINK PIG

Mountainside Craft Hiking/Walking Sticks may be purchased at Holloway's Pink Ping in Cherry Log, GA. Bud Holloway and his family have been making the best orginal pit cooked B-B-Q since 1967. Visited by people such as President Jimmy Carter and Governor Zell Miller it is rumored that the Pink Pig has the best iced tea in the world! With a full menu, all food is prepared to order. Stop by and have a wonderful meal and purchase a hiking/walking stick for your visit to the North Georgia Mountains.

HIKING AT LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK

This is Kim & Brandon ready to go hiking at Lake Guntersville State Park! We both chose at Short Twisted "Cedar" Hiking Stick for our hike. Mountainside Craft Hiking/Walking Sticks are available for purchase here at the Lake Guntersville Camp Store and also at Lake Guntersville Lodge. You can enjoy a short 30 minute hike, guided Saturday morning interpretive hike, or pack a picnic lunch explore all day! OBER COPY LATHE USED BY MOUNTAINSIDE CRAFT

Ober Copy Lathe used by Mountainside Craft to make Hiking/Walking sticks. This machine is over 100 years old and was used to make wooden handles. It was made by the Ober Manufacturing Company in Chagrin Falls, OH. and recently purchased by Mountainside Craft.

TENNESSEE HARDWOOD HIKING STICKS

Tennessee Hardwood Hiking Sticks made by Mountainside Craft. Our Hiking/Walking Sticks are made from only the finest Tennessee Hardwoods. Although cedar is not considered a "hardwood" we make some with cedar because it makes a beautiful stick. We make 3 creative styles and 2 sizes.Twisted, Striped and Crooked. Tall sticks are approx. 57" and short sticks are approx. 42"

LAKE GUNTERSVILLE STATE PARK CAMP STORE

Mountainside Craft Hiking/Walking Sticks and Firestarters are available for purchase at the Lake Guntersville State Park Camp Store. This is a beautiful campground with over 300 improved campsites. The camp store offers many items that you may need while camping. Hiking trails in this park cover 36 miles of the park from moderate to difficult terrian.

FIRESTARTERS ON OUR STORE FRONT

Mountainside Craft Firestarters have been added to our store front! They are made with sawdust and wax in a paper cup, wrapped with a coffee filter and tied with a piece of twine. We add an instruction label and a "strike-anywhere" match. Our Firestarter will burn for 20 minutes. They are great for fireplaces and campfires.
