CAVE AT CATHEDRAL CAVERNS

This is the view from inside the mouth of the cave at Cathedral Caverns. The opening measures 126 feet wide and 25 feet high. The temperature inside the cave is 60 degrees all year! The walking tour is 1.3 miles and last 75 to 90 minutes. And for your tour you may purchase a Mountainside Craft Walking Stick from the gift shop!

LODGE AT JOE WHEELER STATE PARK

This is a picture of the Lodge at Joe Wheeler State Park. Visit this beautiful Alabama State Park, purchase your hiking/walking stick from the Marina Gift Shop, and take your family on a nature hike. When I was there I saw 3 deer grazing on the side of the road. Just imagine the wildlife you may see on the trails!

CATHEDRAL CAVERNS STATE PARK

Cathedral Caverns State Park, located in Woodville, AL, is an amazing place to visit! You can actually tour this unbelievable cave with one to the parks tour guides. I have visited this State Park several times. In addition to the cave tour, you can also camp, picnic and visit the gift shop. Mountainside Craft Hiking & Walking Sticks are available at their gift shop.

Before you hike at Joe Wheeler State Park, you must visit the Marina Store. Mountainside Craft Hiking and Walking Sticks are now availabe for purchase here. When I visited, I met some wonderful people at this park. It is a beautiful place to hike! JOE WHEELER STATE PARK

I recently visited Joe Wheeler State Park. Located in Rogersville, AL, this state park offers several hiking trails. The most popular is located between the Day Use Area and the Resort Lodge. This trail is approximately 2.5 miles. The South side cabin area has a 2.5 mile looped multi-use trail. This is a beautiful park with something for everyone!

CHEAHA STATE PARK

Whitney is using a Tall Striped Hiking Stick to hike at Cheaha State Park. This park offers several hiking only trails. Bald Rock Boardwalk Trail, Pulpit Rock Trail, Rock Garden and Lake Trails are a few of the trails at Cheaha! This Alabama State Park is centrally located in the Talladega National Forest.Before your trip to "the highest point in Alabama", visit our store front to purchase your hiking stick. Mountainside Craft is now offering Firestarters. They are made with Paraffin wax and sawdust. A strike-anywhere match is included. After lighting the firestarter, it will burn for 20 min. TENNESSEE WALKING STICKS

Our Tennessee walking sticks are produced in the small town of Kimball, TN. We are located about 35 miles west of Chattanooga on I24. Our business is located in the basement of our home, on the side of the mountain. I am using the tall twisted walking stick and my daughter, Whitney, has the tall striped stick.

HIKING STICKS

This weekend was spent with my children and "grandchildren". We wanted to show the hiking sticks being used. We had a great time taking pictures of "the girls" out in the woods! I used the tall twisted hiking stick, Whitney has the tall striped hiking stick, Emily picked the short striped and Elizabeth has the short crooked walking stick. We had a GREAT time!!
